She even hopes she might get her own pictorial mash-up with Lady Gaga, which escalates into her singing Born This Way while dishing up brekkie at Roy’s Rolls. Meanwhile, Audrey Roberts fancies that the thermal clothing she has to wear for her upcoming Norwegian cruise makes her look like the Milk Tray Man.
Bernie mentions that her Auntie Mo used to have a seance every Sunday after Gardeners’ Question Time. Unfortunately, her casual comment plants a seed that takes root in Hope Stape’s fertile imagination. The ensuing seance gets interrupted by Bernie, who guiltily covers for Hope by pretending the youngster was playing a card game. Nice poker face, Bernie/Gaga.
Griff Reynolds’ motley crew have an idea for a stall at the Christmas Market. ‘We can call it White Christmas and just play that song on a loop,’ is the suggestion, conjuring up festive images of treetops glistening and children listening to racist bellends in the snow.
