When Joel Deering doesn’t hear Dee-Dee Bailey enter the room,
she credits it to her ninja abilities. She should be selective about using her gifts, since there’s no telling what she might catch her creepy fiancé doing. The original Japanese ninjas underwent intense training to perfect their stealth skills. Not too many people would mistake Brian Packham for a ninja, but he shows real dedication in helping Gemma and Chesney Winter-Brown search for a new place to live. The property he finds boasts a garden that’s described as a ‘mini Kew’. Gemma is offended when Brian mansplains that Kew Gardens is the Royal Botanic Gardens. To be fair, he does that sort of thing with everyone. Recognising his good intentions, Gemma observes that not all heroes wear capes. Brian admits he’s always thought he might be able to carry off a cowl. Unfortunately, Chesney arrives and says he didn’t even get to see Weatherfield’s answer to Kew. It was so popular there was a, er, queue right round the block.
